Jamnagar is a significant birding hotspot among birders as several surveys concluded that it hosts the highest number of birds in India. It has an interesting combination of salt-pans, marine conservation areas, wetlands, and lakes. Apart from the resident birds, this place also sees several migratory birds during the winter, with Flamingos as the most popular among them.
I did this trip in Dec 2014 with my friends. The gear i carried was as follows:
-  Canon 5D Mark II
-  Canon EF 500 f/4 L IS II USM with 1.4x TC
